Kashani and Killing have been recognized in this list in previous years, while this is Dalsace’s first time in the top 50.
Among Kashani’s best-selling cases is Innovation and Renovation: The Nespresso Story, revised in 2022. This case examines the evolution of the Nespresso system in a 100%-owned affiliate intentionally placed outside of Nestle’s main organization.
Killing is renowned for his three-part case series centered on Nestlé’s Globe Program, providing an in-depth analysis of Chris Johnson’s leadership role in managing the most extensive SAP rollout ever witnessed in the global food industry.
Dalsace’s case on Michelin Fleet Solutions investigates the conditions under which XaaS business models work and highlights their advantages in terms of sustainability. “Michelin has been a trailblazer selling kilometers, not tires, to the transportation industry ,” said Dalsace. “I am thrilled to see that it has become a bestseller.”
Turpin and Kashani co-wrote Reinventing Nespresso? The Challenges of a Market Leader Under Attack, which explores the tough strategic decisions that Nespresso had to make to remain successful. This case was part of the TCC’s bestselling cases list in 2021 and 2022.
Finally, one of Michel’s notable achievements is his case Sonova: Hearing a Sound Digital Strategy?, which discusses the challenges facing Sonova in the dynamic landscape of multiple product and channel brands and explores how the company should strategically react to the fast-moving competitive environment.
